What is NM 500 abrasion resistant steel?
NM500 wear-resistant steel plate is a high-strength wear-resistant steel plate. “N” stands for “wear-resistant”, “M” stands for “wear-resistant”, and “500” means that its Brinell hardness value reaches 500 (HBW).
NM500 wear-resistant plate has a hardness of more than HRC50 and excellent wear resistance, which is 2-3 times higher than ordinary steel plates. It can withstand severe friction and wear and can operate stably for a long time under harsh working conditions.
