NM 400 Wear Resistant Steel Plate

What is NM 400 abrasion resistant steel?

NM400 wear-resistant steel plate is a high-strength wear-resistant steel plate. “NM” is the first letter of the Chinese pinyin for “wear-resistant”, and “400” represents that the average Brinell hardness of this steel plate is about 400, but the hardness range of domestic NM400 is usually between 360 and 420HB.

Implementation standard: GB/T 24186-2022 “High-strength wear-resistant steel plate”.
Delivery status: Usually delivered in the quenched and tempered (quenched + tempered) state, and can also be delivered in the quenched, TMCP + tempered or hot-rolled state according to demand.
Smelting method: Use converter or electric furnace smelting, and perform refining outside the furnace to ensure the purity and uniformity of the molten steel.
